Merangkul Kelemahan dan Kekuatan dalam Kuasa Allah: Refleksi Teologis 2 Korintus 12:9

Abstract


This paper aims to provide a theological reflection on 2 Corinthians 12:9 regarding weakness and strength in the power of God. Weakness and strength is a common paradox in the Christian perspective. Paul uses this paradox in 2 Corinthians 12:9 to embody the paradoxical concept of weakness and strength. Paul explained that he was experiencing weakness in his ministry. However, through his weakness, Paul experienced the power of God. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, the author will conduct a theological reflection on the verse 2 Corinthians 12:9. This theological reflection provides a deep understanding of weakness and strength in the life of a believer. The author states that the concept of weakness and strength of God that is raised in the theological reflection of 2 Corinthians 12:9 brings every believer to experience significant spiritual growth. This paper provides a reflective academic contribution on weakness and strength and their relationship with God's grace and its dynamics in the lives of believers.

 

Abstrak

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sebuah refleksi teologis dari 2 Korintus 12:9 mengenai kelemahan dan kekuatan dalam kuasa Allah. Kelemahan dan kekuatan adalah sebuah paradoks yang umum dijumpai di dalam perspektif Kristen seperti di dalam perjalanan kehidupan rohani orang percaya.  Paulus menggunakan paradoks ini di dalam 2 Korintus 12:9 untuk mengejawantahkan konsep paradoks mengenai kelemahan dan kekuatan. Paulus menjelaskan bahwa dirinya tengah mengalami kelemahan di dalam pelayanannya. Namun, melalui kelemahan yang Paulus alami membuat Paulus mengalami kuasa Allah. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penulis akan melakukan refleksi teologis ayat 2 Korintus 12:9. Refleksi teologis ini memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai kelemahan dan kekuatan di dalam kehidupan orang percaya. Penulis menyatakan bahwa konsep kelemahan dan kekuatan Allah yang dimunculkan dalam refleksi teologis 2 Korintus 12:9 ini membawa setiap orang percaya mengalami pertumbuhan rohani yang signifikan. Tulisan ini memberikan kontribusi akademik yaitu refleksi teologis mengenai kelemahan dan kekuatan di dalam kehidupan orang percaya. Tulisan ini juga memberikan bentangan pemahaman tentang kelemahan dan kekuatan serta relasinya dengan anugerah Allah dan dinamikanya dalam kehidupan orang percaya.
